my question is that why does the children like those teachers who did not scold them?

Noone likes to be scolded. Do you? Scolding is perceived as a form of humiliation. This is human nature and it is not taken in good spirits by most of the people. Therefore, they tend to like people who do not scold them.

I would like to add that scolding is not actually bad as long as it is not that bad that you start fearing it and study only to escape it. It creates a pressure on you and a little bit of pressure is actually good. It makes you concentrate better. , it might actually help. :-) .

On the other hand one can always work hard to avoid it, thus benefitting him or her.
