No I don't think that it is necessary to be good in studies to show your capabilities. For example
we can consider Micheal Phelps who set a world record in this recent Olympics but in childhood he was very naughty, (nothing to do with studies) and disobedient but he always listened to his heart ..
Well said, Shashank!! I too believe in that. A number of my school friends who were not very good in getting marks are doing very well in life today. By doing well I mean not just career-wise, but more importantly as individuals who are more at peace with themselves.
Yes i think the people who r good in studies r more capable than who are not.For Eg.if we take indian cricket players they have become the player and they r famous but if they win some trophy .they r called to ask about the match and u all know they ask in english and if they don't know english ,they find it diffucult to speak.
I disagree, Dhruv. Look at a lot of Pakistani players………..they prefer to speak in Urdu.
One should always feel proud to talk in ones Mother Tongue. But, this does not mean one should not be good in English. We should be strong enough to decide which language to use depending on the situation. For eg…..I don't see why you have to order a burger in a McDonalds in English…especially if you as well as the other guys both are good in Hindi/have a common mother tongue.
yaa i think we should not feel ashamed to to show others who we really are
